CompMechLab research engineers have been providing services in the area of composite materials numerical and analytical multi-level simulation and analysis for more than 25 years. CompMechLab has successful experience of simulating almost all stages of composite materials and structures lifecycle: manufacturing, strength, buckling, fracture and failure. Numerous projects have been done by requests of world leading industrial companies (Airbus, Boeing, Ahlstrom):

CONTACT and BETA CAE Systems Launch a Development Partnership

CONTACT Software and BETA CAE Systems have launched a development partnership to incorporate the field of product validation into Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). In the current work simulation of drop-down test of bowling ball to the composite lane was performed. The composite lane consists of supporting honeycomb structure and face layers. The finite element model was verified with use of real tests data. The work results allowed to find the optimal thickness of lane layers.
